Having been introduced to the terrific work of Geoff Mcfetridge as early as 2000, I’ve always been a fan of his DIY principles and the really toothsome appeal of his hand-made graphic endeavors. Not to mention the guy is a creative workhorse, lending his talent to a variety of projects such as film titles (1999’s The Virgin Suicides), ad campaigns for Napster and the X games and even his own line of wallpaper. That being said, I sort of forget about him every so often and am reminded of how awesome he is whenever I come across his name in a review or random entry of some kind. This time around I was shuffling through my netflix queue and realized that the Beautiful Losers film (in which Mcfetridge is featured) has been on pending release like forever now. Did a little more snooping around on the web and came across several more videos featuring the guy and a few awesome photos on flickr from his art shows in LA. The guy is a beast. The video interviews at the bottom are particularly worthwhile.
